Thought I would share some info on this combo. Montanamarine thread on re17 got my interest peaked and just happened to find bullets at bass pro that came home with me. Before I tried h380 I did buy a pound of re17 to test with first, didnt like the pressure spikes at 49 and 50grs with ugly looking primers and a really compressed load.
Rifle is savage 10 1-10 twist 26", coal is 2.920 10 thou off lands, win brass 9.5 rem primer:
44gr 2350
45gr 2400
46gr 2420
46.5 2455
47 2490
47.5 2525
Even at 47.5 primers look the same as 44grs, maybe can get higher yet but group opened up. Picture below is 46.5 charge, I will try higher at a later date. Gun really likes 2450 with this bullet, re17 with that speed was also a tight group.
