Looking for way so I can use my Swarovski Spotting Scope with my Manfrotto 322RC2. The foot on the spotting scope is to big to fit onto the head. Anyone know of a way to mount the scope on the head or an after market mounting plate?

This this qu plate should work. Attach the spotter to the plate and bada bing bada boom.

I have qd plate that came with the 322RC2. However the screw/threads are to small. The threaded hole on the foot of the spotting scope is larger.
Do they make a qd plate with a larger screw by chance?

there should be a metallic insert in the bottom of the spotter that adapts that hole. If it is missing call swaro they should send one out to you.

There is also a 3/8" QD plate from Manfrotto. I don't know what the Swarovski thread is but the normal camera threads are 1/4"
