338 06

I am having a 338 06 built. I am new to reloading and was wandering how hard it is to increase the 30 06 brass to 338?

I had much better luck using 35 Whelen and downsizing. Lube inside the case neck good and you won’t have a problem either way.
I always wondered if buying a mandrel and tapering down then end to the desired size would make easier expanding on wildcats.

It isn't difficult.
I annealed first, used Imperial lube, did the expansion in two steps.
