338 Edge load development

My tastes in rifles and calibers is somewhat varied. I really love some of the 7mm/284 loadings and I love experimenting. I use this forum extensively for information and ideas. After some research into 338 cal I was really grooving on the 338 edge. The concept was simple and as a bonus already shot a 300 RUM. One of my issues in finding good load data. I'm still developing my own loads and compiling data on various powders and projectiles. If you would like to share please add you own.

Go to Defensive Edge - they developed the cartridge and have a lot of info on it on their web site. I do not run mine as hard as they do - I am running 86.3 of Retumbo with 300 grain projectiles at 2675.

I found a great load with R33 but it's become almost impossible to find. Also had good luck with Retumbo and lots of guys prefer H1000.

I took 92grs h1k and one of the cheap 250gr bullets ravenrocksprecision is selling and it has never shot better.

Just built a 338 Edge.Been shooting 300 RUM Ackley Improved and a 33XC. So what did you come up with for the Ghost Powder..RK33 ???

Ok.Thanks.Ive got a Stiller action and a 32 inch Bartlein 1.250 straight with Muzzle brake, 1-9 twist and an EC Tuner Brake on one rifle and the other 338 has a T4 Terminator Brake..Im testing RL33 & 300 gr Nosler RDF & Berger 300gr Hybrid/ I have really accurate load with Vihta Vuori 24N41 but the speed isnt where I want it so I moved to RL33 & V N570 to try out.,
I have not shot any 250gr in it.I want a heavy to Shoot in ELR. May take it to King of 1 Mile.Or I will take my 33 XC. Thanks for the help.

3023/ 3021/3022/3022/3024 my last 5 shots.All touching at 300 yards. Using 300gr Nosler RDF and Reloder 33 Federal GMM 210 Primers at 92 Degrees F/ 29 Ft.ASL / Barometric Pressure 30.01/ RH 62% / 2295 DALT103.1grs. RL33 ADG Brass Once Fired /.364 Bushing/ 11 Thou of Lands loaded with V4 Auto Trickler and Amp Press

Update on the Nosler RDF 300grf.. They do not go through transonic well at all.And Ive have key hole at 1000 yards and they either tumbled or something to hit flat on cl;ean withe plates at 1200 and 1400 yards. Very disappointed. And I;d bought 1200 of them.,
