.338 edge muzzle brake….

In the process of building my 338 edge. Barrel should be done soon. So I need to decide on a brake

ive looked at the terminator t4 or the DE slab.

Looking for more input from other big bore shooters on brake options.

My Barrel is an m24 contour and must be a 5/8-24 thread

Recoil is about a hunting weight 308 or bit less

Get a brake that is self timing. I use Fat Bastard on both my 300WM and 338LM. terminator does make a self timing that i think will work.

Why does a self timing matter? If it’s just cost of install that now big deal

Timing brakes is expensive
Shims are dumb

There are a lot of excellent brakes out there. I went with the Badger FTE on my Edge and prefer it over the TBAC brake I run my can with. It’s a really mild gun with the FTE on it.
