I dried some of my .338 Lapua brass in the oven and it came out a little different color. I didn't do all my research and cranked the oven to 325 and let my brass sit in there for probably 20 minutes. After I realized I had set the temp to high I turned the oven off but left the brass to sit in there to dry off. When I took the brass out they had a darker shade to them on the bottom half of the case. Did I just destroy my brass? In the attached image the case on the left (or bottom depending on how the picture is displayed) is an air dried case.
