For those of you shooting .338 LM at 1500+ yards (particularly those using USO's)...

Are any of you that don't use a down-canted base running out of elevation travel with your given optic setup?

I'm asking because I'm having difficulty finding the right mount for a USO SN3 TPAL 5x25-58. I want a canted one-piece with high rings but there are few quality options for a 34mm USO with TPAL due to the size of the turret housing.

I've played musical mounts with other sticks and want to avoid that expensive mistake on my Barret. This would be a non-issue if I go with a 30mm tube since the AADMount I had planned on using works fine with a TPAL.

Problem is that the 34mm AADMount has less space between the rails than their 30mm model so I'm back to square one.

What are you USO guys using?

Hmmm...I'm trying to avoid stacking anything. I'm wondering now how far out a 30mm SN3 on a 20moa base can reach? If I can make it to 1500 with that I may call it a day. Mounting options for 34mm TPAL's are few.
