I'm curious if anyone makes a .338 Semi-Auto Lapua. Is anyone aware of such a weapon, and if so, where could I look at one on the 'net?

With a decent brake and a properly engineered receiver, gas system, etc., etc....the recoil shouldn't be all that bad.
The wallet on the other hand...nothing will fix that pain!!

Is it just me or is that one of the skinniest barrels I've ever seen on a AR...let alone a .338L

None of the pics I have seen have been all that great, but the barrel does look a little thin for a semi-auto 338LM. With a rifle that size, weighing only 13lbs, I guess they had to cut the weight down somewhere!
Maybe Robert can chime in on the barrel diameter since he fingered one at SHOT. I have not seen one up close and personal yet.

I believe they had two on display at SHOT.
One had a light contour barrel (on the rack) and one wore heavier weight barrel. (displayed on the table)
