338 snipe tac die set

Here is the PTG reamer drawing link and an opportunity to do a special order on a finishing reamer - https://www.pacifictoolandgauge.com/338-Snipe-Tac-Finish-Chamber-Reamer_p_118283.html Call and ask for Dave Kiff to see what he recommends for cutting the associated dies (may not be a finisher - but he can get you what is needed.) IF you are starting with a chambered rifle, that's a whole different matter as it may not have been chambered with the listed PTG-spec reamer (not match the reamer drawing and therefore a possible mismatch for cutting the dies) - at which point you are looking at getting a chamber casting and finding a shop that will work from it (preferably that shop doing both the casting and then specing the reamer for PTG, JGS, or Manson). Good luck.

Oscar,
A reamer drawing and a few pieces of twice fired brass is all that's needed to make a good die.
Even fighting a cancer, I take 2 to 4 months for a custom die. Sometimes less, but not often.

If you are committed to that cartridge, it is a good idea to get WTC die made as Alan Warner suggests. I do recommend that you take steps in advance to make sure your next chamber matches the dies WTC makes you, so you can plug and play with your next barrel/chambering and not have to get another new die for each barrel/chambering.

The WTC dies are spendy, but resize your brass perfectly to match your chamber with the perfect amount of resizing so that you don't overwork your brass, but have confidence in chambering and extraction, especially in magnum cartridges. Nothing compares to WTC dies.
