what is everyone’s stock/chassis of choice for a 33XC when trying to make light gun requirements? Currently running just a basic MPA ba comp but wanting to make a change once this barrel craps out. Already got my new blank from K&P which is a 34” 1.35 to 1.10 taper. My rifle right now is currently sitting at 25.5lbs but really wanting to move to a stock or a chassis set up that has a similar feel to a stock when behind it.

The one that is installed actually fit without an issue but it’s PUSHING it. The new barrel isn’t gonna come even close to clearing tho. Want to look into a stock or chassis that will clear a 1.350 straight for future things.
What is the build specs of your rifle, looks like a Stiller TAC 300 long action? I see it's git a magazine, I didn't think it would run in a CIP magazine.

It’s a defiance deviant action. Still doesn’t feed through the mag, I just keep the mag installed in the gun so it’s easier to single feed.

Yes that is correct. And I’d say barrel life on the 33XC could be anywhere from 600-1000ish just depending on your load. The load I’m shooting I fully expect to be around 700 rounds. I’m shooting the 300gr bergers right around 3175 with N570 in a 30” barrel.

I have an extra CDG action that I was considering building into 300nm but this 33xc really has my interest. I really wanted something to run through a magazine but single feed ain't the end of the world.
Norma mags are fun, currently own a 300 NM barrel for this action now. And also got a good bit of time behind a 338 Lapua and the 33XC takes it by far for me. For me not having a mag is the last of my issues just bc when I’m shooting prone in ELR stuff I’m always single feeding. But I also do understand where people want the use of mags. Sadly only way to use a mag is to run a cheytac size action with the Lapua bolt face
