If you don’t want to reload or if you have a new barrel to break in and need some affordable brass to reload, Bud’s Gun shop has a great price on range ammo.

Damn! 60 rounds for $40 ain't bad...Even if it is mid-quality range stuff. Like you said, cheap break-in for the barrel, then save the brass for your handloads. 👍🏼

I plan on getting one of the 16" Ruger American Ranch rifles in .350 Legend in the near future just to play around with. The cartridge has intrigued me since it first got announced.

Me too. It mimics one of my favorite obsolete cartridges, the .357 Maximum.

Earlier this year I bought some new brass and it cost me more per round than these loaded factory rounds.

A box of the Winchester factory loads will run you this much for 20 rounds.

Can't go wrong with the Ruger American Ranch. Used mine the past 2 hunting seasons here in Indiana. Accuracy is as good as you can ask for from a hunting rifle, just don't expect to shoot any PRS matches.

This is my target from checking zero a couple weeks ago at 100 w/ Winchester white box 140gr fmj ammo, flyer was my fault, I yanked the shot.

This is after I re-zeroed with my Rugged Obsidian 45, also at 100.

I have an Obsidian 45, as well… How does it sound on there?

I'm a fan to say the least. Only used the can so far with my hunting ammo, Winchester Deer Season XP 150gr, and it's definitely pleasant on the ear. I'd never shot it without ear pro until I was in the woods, when I zeroed at the range had to wear proper safety equipment and all that. Report when I first shot didn't cause me any issues, small firecrackers are louder than .350L supers with this can.

I got a buck this past Sunday and I shanked my first shot because he'd stopped with his front leg/shoulder right behind a small tree, probably 5-6in in diameter, tried placing the shot just behind it and ended up hitting the tree, buck didn't even flinch, just looked around and kept on his marry way. Ended up getting him through the lungs/heart with the second shot as he was quartering away at about 55ish yards.

I’m just getting ready to put mine together. I already have some bullets and a bit of brass, but these rounds cost less than the brass cost me.
FYI - That Browning range fodder fed like hot garbage in my AR. Maybe you'll have better luck, but I'd say anything that more resembles a rifle ogive will feed much better.

I ended up just using the Browning as a function check after working on feed ramps and mags.

Winchester 145 FMJ will feed better.
