I was visiting with an older friend this weekend and he showed me an interesting barreled action. He had a 40X .308, US Property marked barreled action that appeared to be new/unfired. He said he bought it from Dave Kiff at PTG.

He believes this to be an M40 barreled action.

What exactly does he have?

That’s Marine Corps….And no these were never US Property.
