Brand new to this forum so not sure where this post should go. I bought some Lehigh Defense 416 grain .416 brass solids to try in my .416 Barrett. I use this rifle purely for recreation, don’t have the time or money to try and compete with those of you who are very accomplished long range shooters. I’m just getting my feet wet. Yeah, I know, pretty dang expensive cartridge to get your feet wet with.... I have a Barrett 99 use RCBS dies and just like hammering rocks and gongs out there at 1000 plus.... Has anyone loaded up any of these Lehigh’s? I have a couple pounds of US 869 to burn through. As with any other thing I’ve done, the hobby will become an obsession, and I’ll soon be trying to milk every bit of accuracy out of this rifle that it is capable of... For now, I’m just looking for someone to point me in the right direction as to some data for loading this bullet in this cartridge. I don’t have a problem buying a new reloading manual, just don’t have an idea which one might have the info I need. As our local sporting goods stores have all the manuals wrapped in plastic, I just want to make sure the one I buy contains what I’m looking for. Any help would be appreciated. I’ve spent a couple of hours digging in the internet today and come up empty handed. Maybe I’m not using the right keywords in my searches. I would think “.416 Barrett reloading data” would have given me something??? Like I said, I’m not looking for freebies, I don’t have a problem purchasing the right information, Thanks for any help
