452 base question

i have a 452 varmint with a vortex 4-16ffp scope. i have a diy base between 20 and 25 moa cant. currently i have .88 uso rings and can dial out to right at 300. is there any reason not to put on somthing like a 20 moa nightforce unimount on my canted base for a total of 40ish moa cant?

also does anyone know of a canted unimount that would keep my scope height at around .88?

You can also run burris signature zee rings with the offset inserts for another ~20moa of cant in addition to the cant in the rail. That's what I do on all my rimfires & air rifles for more usable elevation (with the exception of my 10/22 that I machined a custom 50MOA base for.)

Unfortunately the signature zee rings are out of stock everywhere at the moment and have been for a couple of months now. I'm waiting on a set of them for my Sako Quad trainer that also has a DIP 20MOA base.
