This might belong in the Suppressor subforum, but I'll try here first.

I can't make up my mind between buying a factory threaded CZ 455 (#02114) or the non-threaded (#02113). It makes more sense, economically, to buy the threaded 455 rather than pay ~$80 for a gunsmith to do it later. Factory threaded, 1/2 x 28, CZ barrels are not available as standalone items.

What I need to know is:
Has anyone had issues with their suppressors not mating well with factory threads?
Should I wait to have a gunsmith thread the barrel for my specific can? (Suppressor will be 22 LR, 22 WMR and 17 HMR compatible)
Any other objections to the 455 synthetic models?

P.S. I am fully aware of Iowa's ban on NFA weapons. This is strictly for planning ahead when I move.

A lot of the .22 cans have short seating depth. I personally have had rifles that come factory threaded and the can won't mate up without a spacer or cutting the thread depth shorter.

I have been looking at the 455 precision trainer and would probably just pay to have the right thread depth cut unless you know for sure it works from the factory. I'm not a fan of the spacer idea.
