hey guys, i'm looking for a good mid to semi-long range optic for the .458 socom that's based on the m-16(fixed stock). any ideas, i'm leaning against anything by trijicon, from personal experience i don't like. any info is great, thanks.

Lots of ideas, I have my I on one myself and have built a few scenarios:
For bad breath distance to about 90 meters, aimpoint micro t-1

I have seen a guy use an eotech 557 with good results as well.

the second dot zeroes his socom at about 150 meters, third dot 180 and the fourth was about 210 if i remember correctly.
