Apparently there has been a large uptick in the percentage of women who own guns as well. Now if we can only get them to start coming to the Hide.... probably need to get someone better looking then LowLight to do start doing the videos....

I bet it's even higher than that. I know a lot of people who (clearing throat) don't own a single gun, especially when the G-men are asking.

i work at the local Academy Sports and Outdoors here in lubbock. Obviously its not a huge epicenter for gun fantatics (limited and low end inventory), but i was just making a comment to my manager the other day that we are seeing a lot of first time buyers, especially women. Little guns like the Ruger LCP and the LC9, as well as the smaller .38 special revolvers are flying out of the safes.

Re: 47% of American's Own a Gun

I was surprised by the uptick in women purchasers. I mean currently crime is almost at an all time low in this country. I wonder what is the impetus?

Also I sometimes question these polls. Specifically how did they comprise the list of people that were polled? Anymore they can compile a list of people that they know are either for or against what they are after, that way the results are usually going to end up in their favor.

That's a large percentage. And yet, not a single Presidential candidate is talking about Fast&Furious or the dilution of the 2ndA.

What does that tell you?

You gotta know when to hold'em, know when to fold'em, and know when to hide'em. No pun intended

You better keep her happy.
I've heard of people getting shot with their own gun. (just kidding)
Most all of my son's are in my name. He keep's borrowing (taking) them. But it gives me an excuse to get better ones.

That seems to be endemic. Same thing happened to me.

You know it. It's my own fault teaching her on the CZ 452. She'd kill me if I ever tried to sell it. That one is hers.
