5.56 ammo

Hey guys, I have been trying to locate at least 500 rds of hornady tap ammo. Not the .223 civilian stuff. the actual high compression 5.56 good stuff. If anyone knows where to get a hold of this incredible ammo please let me know.

Not familiar with this stuff is the boxed labeled differently from TAP red box?

He's referring to 5.56 TAP, not the .223 loading. The 5.56 version features increased muzzle velocity and the T2 bullet.

That's the .223 loading. The 5.56 loading is 8126N

the red box TAP ammo, is not .223, its 5.56 and says so on the box. I cant find it anywhere. But the black boxed .223 TAP ammo is avail. everywhere.

No, the red box TAP comes in both .223 and 5.56. I have 20 boxes of the .223 in a red box eight feet away.

.223 red box TAP: 80265
5.56 red box TAP: 8126N
