I believe the cal is .338. Been awhile since I watched that video.

Either way, select fire or not, standing unsupported is fun but not particularly useful. Also, some poor fuck has to carry that thing around.
Definitly would not want to be the poor soul who has to hump that all day!
Here's the real question:
Do you want to be the poor soul humping that rifle, or the poor soul humping the ammo cans?
At least the dude humping the rifle has a cool toy on his shoulder, as compared to the dude humping the ammo cans that look like he is humping extra MREs...

Now that I think of it, of all the bitching myself and others have done about rifle recoils, a .50BMG never comes up. A .50 is just all bark and not much bite. It's just a big push and not a snappy shoulder breaker.
