Have I been living under a rock? Apparently pigman shoots a 500 nitro necked to 30 cal. Supposedly made by twisted barrels? Claim it sends a 208 Amax at 3500 fps. Can u say barrel burner. Wow. Please tell me this is true. If so, what is it called?

Ok..just read through some pages of a pig hunting forum. It is indeed a 500 Jeffrey nitro necked down to 30 cal. Sending a 208 amax at 3450-3500. He calls it .300 King Hog.

Maybe someone should tell pigman about it. 360g bullet at those speeds. Wow. Hear it is designed to penetrate 3/4 inch steel at 1500 meters.

Here we go, all the hog hunters will now claim that you must use tungsten at a minimum to kill hogs hahaha.
