Rifle Scopes 50ft parallax?

I have a 22 comp this winter that is shot at 50ft. I normally don’t shoot at less that 50yrds so I’ve never really had an issue with my scopes. If you have a scope that will focus at 50ft or less list them. I looked for a thread and didn’t find one so this could help myself and others wanting to shoot indoor stuff over the winter

These are all I can think of off the top of my head. I’m sure there’s more. For a rimfire I really really like the nf 7-35 as that would give you an opportunity to shoot at or close to 35x if conditions allow. Then swap it over to a centerfire and have a top scope for prs.
Honestly though, any of the scopes I mentioned I would highly recommend for a comp rig. Except the March.

I just put the Athlon Argos BTR 10-40x56 on my 22 bolt gun and it will focus down to 15yds. With it being a 40 power those tiny holes are really easy to see. I almost won our local club match last week with a 482-11X using this scope.

I don’t have a budget. I like deals on stuff. Sadly it looks like lost all the stuff you listed is over 50ft though.
There is a 12-50 s&b in the px right now that has got me thinking about a little comp that I was invited to that is shot at 50ft. A lot of indoor stuff is shot at that distance with irons. I have a couple scopes that would work but was just looking for options that are out there.

Sorry I misread and thought you wanted parallax to 50 YARDS not FEET. 50 FEET is about 16 yards so Then the NF 7-35 is the only one that will work for sure, that I can think of. Awesome scope too.

Weavers with parallax adjustment have been a much better bet than anything else for .22 Rimfire shooting for a half century or more BUT about 10-12 years back, I purchased a Nikko Stirling Nighteater 8-32 with side parallax adjustment. It is the only parallax adjustable scope I have used which was perfectly indexed, i.e. i did not need to apply some tape and put a new index mark on the scope. I suggest that you look at Weaver Classic and Nikko Stirling scopes.

The two Schmidt's listed at 10 meters is 33 feet which fits the OP's criteria, the March at 10 yards is 30 feet which also fits. Geno, check out the March 3-24x52 with FML-T1 reticle, one of the few complaints about the scope is the parallax but quite honestly at such close ranges any scope is going to be finicky on parallax. If you don't like busy reticles I personally think the FML-1 is a bit thick for .22 work, I would say check out the FMA-2 MOA reticle as it's thinner for some reason vs. the FML-1. A lot of folks like to run the H59 reticles for their .22 trainers and both the Schmidt 5-25 and 3-27 offer those, for a less obtrusive reticle the new LRR-MIL in the 5-25 is getting great reviews and that reticle is supposed to make it's way into the 3-27 pretty soon which may be the best all around scope. Just some thoughts there.

PS - keep an eye out for deals on the Schmidt 5-25, you can find them for well under $2500 at times.

That's right, I've never seen an Athlon but might be a good choice for 22 work, they have some nice reticles as well

Midas Tac has a pretty small center dot.

Yes, the dot in the 4-16 TAC is tiny and that model will focus slightly below 10Y on max mag.

Any scope that focuses down to 10Y will work fine.

You can add the S&B 12-50 to that list at 10m as well.
It gives you the high power you normally only get with SFP scopes but with the advantage of being FFP. And yep, there is one in the classifieds like new. ?

Schmidt with LRR reticle. The dot is around .025 mil. At 25 yds it’s easily smaller than the .22 hole.

For that game, you might consider a more purpose-built scope like a NF Competition 42x or similar.

Nikon makes a 22 scope that will focus down to less than you need and is a great scope for about $150.00 I believe it is called an EFR, extended focus range. I have one and love it for indoor 50 ft

For 22RF 50ft, find you an older Leupold BR-24X or BR-36X. They come with a fine crosshair or 1/8min dot reticle. They both focus to 50ft. You should be able to pick up a good one up if you look for $400 - $500 on some of the other forums.

Also, a bit more pricey, is the Leupold 6.5 x 20 EFR. It will focus down to 50ft as well.
