Yep, nothing wrong with running a 50mm on an AR. It's pretty commonplace now days. Good scope, too. You'll like it. I have several of the V4 6-24x50's.
My 20" 6.5 Grendel DMR is still currently wearing the Arken SH-4 Gen2 6-24x50 that I put on it back in 2022. It's a cheaper scope, but it still works great for the role is fills, since I don't shoot that gun that much anymore. It's really accurate with handloads, I just don't shoot it very much, as I have plenty of other projects to mess with.
