6.5-284 140gr A-Max, H4895 load needed

I know the combination of H4895 and 140gr bullets is less than optimal in the 6.5-284. I certainly can't find any data on it. However, I have a great deal of H4895 to burn and a partial box of 140gr A-Max's.

I'd like to put together a mild load with this combination, mainly just to use as sighters. Not really a reduced load, just something at the bottom end of the usual 6.5-284 velocity window, say 2500-2600.

Can anyone provide me with a starting point?

That is slower than I would want to fire off a 140 grain 6.5-834 round the is normally shot at 3300 or so.

don't t do it. You're not going to get enough case fill with a powder that fast and it's going to go way overpressure in the case. Just stockpile the H4895 and go by a pound of H4350. It's not worth damaging yourself and your kit.
