I bought some 140 hybrids to try in my creedmoor and shot them the other day. I was using 140 elms which shot excellent but wanted to give the hybrids a go. I found my max seating depth and was going to start them around 30 though off. Given the mag length limitations I believe I had to push them about .160 off. Shot several different charge weights the other day and only a couple grouped really well. Is anyone shooting these and what kind of jump and powder charge did you end up with. With my 140 eldms I can get them .050 off and they hammer.

Components are:
Alpha LRP Brass
Federal GM 210 primers
H4350

.5 grs between loads is too wide of an increment for a smaller case volume like the 6.5 CR. 2 to 3 would have been better so see a trend. Anyway. . . I'd say there's something there around the 40. gr results you show. In addition to that, I know some 6.5 CR reloaders that are getting excellent results with 39.8 to 40.3 of H-4350 in Lapua brass, but I don't recall their seating depths, though they were within mag length. If you can, you might want to try some CCI-200's (or BR2's) as they've done quite well with H-4350 and just might help improve your SD's.
