Could you get there with a 90gr boolit? Just a guess.

You won't get a 6.5mm projectile anywhere near 3300fps from a short action rifle (Creedmoor) safely... or even unsafely for that matter.

Figured it was a long shot. I dunno where people come up with these numbers though. I suspect it's magazines.

Re: 6.5 creedmoor?

Advice? Don't try to do that. Maybe if it was a very light bullet but not with the 120+ bullet weights people generally use for long range.

I think you need to do a LOT of reading before you post anything let alone buy something. How did you arrive at the 3300 figure? What are your plans? What are you shooting at? Why do you need 3300fps? This is a pretty dangerous and precise game that can bite you real quick. There's a lot to know so you really need to read a LOT more than you type.

Re: 6.5 creedmoor?

You can get the Creedmoor to 2850fps pretty easy with the 140 AMAX and H4350 and over 3000fps with the 120/123 range bullets. I run mine around the 2800fps marks but have had them around 2870fps with no pressure and excellent accuracy.
