6.5 GRENDAL

Re: 6.5 GRENDAL

First...turn your caps lock OFF, please.

Second, if you are running searching looking for this item, it may help to spell it correctly (6.5 Grendel...not Grendal). Some search engines will fix it for you and others will not.

Finally, these uppers are in high demand and they are priced accordingly. You can go cheap, but be advised that some manufacturers do not produce quality uppers/rifles in this caliber as compared to companies like AA, Sabre Defence, etc. For example, the upper that you were linked to by MST is a Model 1 Sales upper and they are not held in very high regard. Some work well, while others are plagued with problems. It is truly hit and miss (no pun intended) with an outfit like M1S. I'd pass on that one if I were you.

Since you didn't list the specific type of upper you wanted (bbl length, rail, etc.) or your intended use for the upper (LR, hunting, etc.), I am not sure where to point you, but here are some links to several sources for 6.5 Grendel complete uppers that might fill your needs for a better price than $950:

Also, don't forget GunBroker, GunsAmerica, AR15.com (some of the links above are from there)...all of these are excellent sources for all things AR-15 related.

Re: 6.5 GRENDAL

Build your own, you'll save a fortune. You can get a Lothar Barrel pretty cheap and they perform comparably to the Saterns.
