Read through a bunch of the old threads but just wanted to reach out to see if I’m thinking right.
24” Bartlein
120 freebore
.296 neck
140 Berger hybrids
H1000(got a pound to play with until I can snag more)
virgin Bertram 6.5 saum brass
BR-2s
Haven’t measured distance to the lands (will tonight) but wsm accurate mags so should have flexibility I believe 2.95coal if I’m thinking right
.289 neck bushing should put me around .292 loaded od
First question does 4thou neck clearance give anyone heartburn?
Second any reason to start below 60gr? Figured I’d go 60-62.5 or till I hit pressure in half gr increments damn brass is hard enough to come by I’m not trying to make these scream until I can bump my supply.

My 6.5 saum is pretty much maxed out at 60 grains of h1000. Blowing out primers at 61. That’s not the norm but you could have a barrel like mine.

140 hybrids .020 off the lands averaging about 3025. CCI-250s. I ran this combo over 600 rounds. Carbon rings form quickly so I really stay on top of cleaning.

I've since switched to 156 bergers and retumbo after my throat eroded to the point I could not find accuracy and a velocity i was happy with on the 140s.

Figured I’d throw this out there for reference data. All was virgin Bertram with br2s and 140 hybrid target. Ended up ditching the h1000 started at 59gr worked up till I was getting more pressure than I’m after for this load(I think it was around 61.5 but can’t remember exactly) topped out around 3050 and maybe .75 best 3 shot group. So went to RL26 started at 59 worked up to 60.7 and started getting light ejector marks so I backed up to a group I had around .5 at 60.5 so started moving the bullet out and ended up with CBTO of 2.216 shooting in the .3s at 3160. Ran up to the hill and shot 2 shots at 800 and 3 shots at 1015 to confirm data had 1 miss at the thousand (this thing cuts wind better than the CM) but good elevation. This week will be finishing confirming bc, working on brass prep to try and drop my sd a bit and take it out to distance next weekend
