Has anyone used this combo in their 47? What loads are you using? I am running 130 VLD and 140 MatchBurners, have tried 4064 and RL17, the RL17 is too temperature sensitive. Thanks for the input

Re: 6.5x47 and 4007 SSC

I currently use Varget, but may try some H4350 with 130 Bergers. My chamber is slightly oversize, and 37.6 grains varget is running ~ 2850 fps. However, the current load shoots pretty well, the nut behind the trigger needs the majority of the work!

I prolly shouldn't tweak the load.

Start with 40g of H4350 w/ the berger 130's and work your way up.

I use 40.6 of H4350 w/130's .12 in the lands. F-class load.

I agree. 4064, assuming you're referring to IMR, is a great powder, but the IMRs are definitely sensitive. I believe you'd be better served with H4350.
