Finally had a chance to do a little shooting the other day. The weather was perfect with very low winds. I am not sure what kind of steel this is because my little 6.5X47 would go right through it at 400 yards and put some pretty serious dents in it at 575 yards. I since ordered some AR 500 plates and don't have the same problem. Still working on perfecting my loads, but it's starting to show some promise.

This was at 575 yards, suppressed with a Thunderbeast 30P-1. What a freaking blast.

Re: 6.5X47 Fun

I am using 40.6 grains of H4350 and Berger 130's. I am still tinkering with the seating depth. I am going to do the suggested varying lengths this weekend to see what my rifle seems to like better. I have also had work with the 123 A-Max bullets and Varget. Got some very groups at 100 yards, but I haven't tried them at distance yet.
