If you want to continue using factory, Creedmoor for sure, as 6.5x47 ammo is single source and expensive. If you’re going to reload, you could spice things up and make the change. Im in the same boat as Niles and padom in that I’ve owned both in multiple, as well as several .260’s. Multiple barrel manufacturers, cut and buttoned, several land profiles etc. Owned their 6mm counterparts as well. I think they’re identical on target, one is not more accurate than another in my eyes.
As a little excercise, compare velocities between the 6br, 6 dasher, 6x47, 6xc, 6 Creed, and 6slr. Five cases with near identical geometry. All 30deg shoulders with longish necks, same shoulder diameters, just incrementally longer in the body. Five of those can/will have small primers and flash holes(the SLR too if you’re a masochist). There’s no magic, slowest to fastest in that order. You’re always gonna have the unknowns like barrel personality, and the nut doing the reloading. We’re talking about 6.5 here, but the relationships are the same. Eenie meenie miney mo is a totally acceptable selection methodology here.
