So out of curiosity any gunsmiths chambering for 6-7prc ? Was just watching a video and 4000 fps with an 80gr bullet seems like a great thing to shoot coyotes with lol. I know barrel life…. Meh

I'd be willing to bet any competent gunsmith can chamber one for you. You might have to go and buy the reamer yourself however.

Out of curiosity what are your velocities like? I’m a big fan of wildcat stuff that most people don’t have or have even heard of

Right off the bat I got 2,967 FPS during one of my test shots (I'm still just breaking in the barrel) where I was shooting 1-2 shots and cleaning. The above velocity was literally shot #2 on the barrel.
Bullet is a 195 Berger EOL, barrel is a 27" Bartlein - 1:8.
I did up the powder charge one grain as I was testing pressure too (N568), and got a pretty solid ejector swipe along with a good crater. No velocity on that shot though, and I took it back down. I'm sure this barrel will get north of 3K with the 195s once it speeds up.
Some guys report > 3,100 FPS with 190+gr bullets. I don't stand on my stuff hard enough to verify. But basically the 7-300 is a 7 PRC + 200 FPS from my research.
