For their reputation, finding a "deal" of 6 bucks a mag seems pretty incredible. Until I read the fine print... It says "HK-style" AR15 magazine, with anti-tilt follower. Is this a cheap remake, to just disregard? Everywhere else these magazines go for $30 or more. $6 HK AR15 Magazines

Hmm... For only $6 it may be worth buying one just for sh*ts and giggles. On the same topic though, HK and PMAGs seem to be neck and neck when it comes to reviews. Unless I go back in, the only "action" my magazines will see are plinking in the woods and range time, so really I don't need the best money can buy, but no reason to buy junk either. Anybody still/recently back from the sandbox that have specific experience with one being better than the other?

I am not impressed with the H&K mags. At first look, they seem great. The finish is not durable. They are heavy and have sharp edges. We are in the process of replacing all of our H&K mags with PMags. Not the mention, we can buy 3-4 PMags for the price of one H&K.

DSG had a sale on GI mags for $6 a piece not too long ago. They were actually really nice mags, but I'd skip the ones you've linked to. As said, Pmags are the bee's knees.

You'd be better off not even looking at that link. Used my HK mags in your gat. No problems. You know how many rounds I've put thru my LWRC and I haven't had a single problem. Now I did have a problem with the PMAG it came with. Also PMAG's don't fit in all AR's, that's why they had to make the EMAG. Also, I have the Gen 2 HK mags, not the Gen 1. The Gen 1's did have a few complaints, which were fixed in the Gen 2. Bout my only complaint is that the HK mags are heavier. Didn't try a PMAG in your gat so I can't tell you how it works. But yes the PMAG's are cheaper. Check out the EMAG instead. If you want the HK mags lemme know. I paid less than 30 a pop with the guy I use.

Wasn't the HK NSN pulled due to inexplicable field failures? There are officially two NSNs for PMAGs now though.

Yeah, had a Captain that just retired give me 15 GI mags, four still in the plastic. More than good enough for what I need. May buy a couple different types though, just for kicks.
