6 mm BR Set-Up

I am contemplating building a rifle chambered in a 6 mm BR. I would like to know from you guys what set-up I need to start reloading for this cartridge. Currently I have Lee turret press which I use for reloading cartridges for my 243 and 308. What is the list of supplies I need gentleman (A to Z)? Also since those of you who will respond, already have the necessary expertise with this set-up, I read that if your rifle is chambered for a Norma BR you could not easily use the Lapua cases. Is this true?

I can't belieive non on my shooting buddies have anything to post on this thread. I am sure there are many of you who have knowleadge and input into this issue.

Lapua brass works fine. It is actually head stamped 6br Norma I believe. All you need is dies, a small rifle primer tool, and small rifle primers. You likely have the rest.

What primers work best? I hear people using a lot CCI 450.

Get some Lapua 6BR brass, some form of 6BR dies, some Varget, CCI450 primers, and a 95-107gr bullet and have at it. It's a very easy cartridge to load for.

Out to 300yds they may work well, out further you can do better I'd think, 105 Hornadys HPBTs work very well for me.

Varget, wolf small rifle primers, dies, 105 berger vlds are a good recipe.

That's the die set I use, they work.

Edit; Everyone is preaching Varget for Powder, unless you have some, it's been unobtainable lately. Norma 203B is available and works well also, it's clean.

Uniform Primer Pocket tool
Primers Small Rifle
Powder of your choice from your loading manual
I use Arbor Press
Starrett or equivalent caliper and Hornady OAL attachment to measure loaded round to bullet Ogive
Bullets: I use BIB FB Custom Bullets 67 gr.

The dies. or all dies with 7/8x14 threads are interchangeable with most likewise threaded presses.
