Anyone loaded any 65gr ARX for 9mm.

Tried 4.8gr Tite Group in once fired Blazer brass and Ginex SPP at 1.150 coal with no joy for use in a G19 (1447 fps) and a G19MOS with factory threaded barrel and an RMR (1495fps). Stovepipe and FTF galore at that charge weight.
Going to 5.0 grains next, 5.1 is max published load on the +P chart.

With the ARX at $57/1k and the Ginex SPP at $76/1k they should end up under $7/50.

Next option is to try some HP38 if they don't run at 5.0. Not really wanting to change out the recoil spring if I don't have to.

I wouldn’t do dat. Glock needs enough recoil spring to keep the slide forward as the striker is partially cocked when in battery. Then, when you start pulling the trigger, the striker is pulled back even more before release. If the recoil spring is too light you’ll have problems. You could reduce the weight of the striker spring but that may not set off certain primers.

I would go with another powder, something that produces more recoil. Looking at their load data, maybe Autocomp?

Are you saying an out of battery condition could be caused?

Factory spring is supposed to be 18lb.
The compressor comes with 18,15,an 13lb springs.
I planned on trying the 15lb.
I still have 3800 of the 65gr to burn through and plenty of TG.

Yes. I did that on a Glock 24 to get it to run minimum PF TG loads and noticed I was cocking the slide back while pulling the trigger. So I returned to stock.

Thanks for the input and what to watch for.
I hate the thought of changing the spring if only for range practice. Except for these 65gr ARX loads, I've never had a failure through many thousands of rounds running the guns stock. I shoot 124gr for practice and carry.
I have a little HP38 to try but the chamber pressure and velocity is listed as slightly lower than the TG, not sure it will perform any better.
