My 6 ARC data from the desert last night. I have struggled to find a load for this gun but I think this is close. Groups are all under .4 MOA. My pointer finger is covering a flyer that I pulled on my first shot… would’ve made the group .75”.

Rifle is all JP except for the barrel which is a 22” bartlein pulled out of a GA Precision 6 ARC.

103 ELDX Horn
1 x fired Horn factory brass
28.6gr CFE223 (max in Horn book, might try pushing this a smidge)
CCI BR-4 primers

My only grip is SD and ES are still not great. I’ve been able to get sub- 10 SDs with this powder charge but idk what is going on there… any comments on lowering SDs would be appreciated… I know that’s a broad ask but a man can hope.

If you have access to Leverevolution powder you can get about 100-150 fps more probably. I have an 18” barrel on my Seekins. Caution though because the pressure spiked on these loads at 89F and 1x fired Hornady brass a couple weeks ago. Other indices were the same. I’ve backed off but just wanted to see what I could pull.

I actually switched away from Lever because of temp stability and larger SDs… like 18-19, but maybe I was missing something. I did love the speed. And I have switched to a much better scale so that might help with the SD part…

My ARC is a 22" Criterion barrel fitted to a Savage, it has a bit more freebore than normal, I can comfortably seat 103s at 2.34 " without any jam. I'm running Starline Grendel brass trimmed and resized. Imr 8208 Fed 205s. Just on 50 rounds fired.

Today I shot a 8208 load I'd worked up to previously but found patchy, which I think was my scales (common theme here?). Group was .375 for the 5 at 2746 fps. Job done really, a pretty hot load, shooting awesome. But I also tried some Leverevolution and got it up to 2910 fps shooting a ladder. No pressure signs from brass, rifle or primers BUT when I ran that load in Gordon's Reloading Tool (GRT) it was pretty certain that it was running at 75,000psi. - oh shit! I mention this because this is the second instance with this cartridge when the pressure has gone sky high without showing it in the brass or primer. Might not pay to push the limits too far!

I was shooting the 90 TGK out of a 20 inch proof bolt gun. Ran it with 31.3 of LVR and 30.6 of CFE223. It shot pretty good with both. I ended up using a load with the 87VLD instead. Will revisit these as I bought quite a few.

I tried .15 .20 and .25 of the lands. It shot best long at 2.268 which is .25 off. 31.2 of LVR at 2942FPS

That is the TGK sorry. The Berger VLD is at
2.21COL CBTO is 1.590 for the VLD and 1.592 for the TGK. Both shoot great.
