6mm arc

Looking at building a high precision 6mm arc. What barrel would you recommend?

What are your MOA expectations?

No reason to over spend if you are just looking for a one MOA AR-15.

Just understand that 16-20" is plenty for this little cartridge. I made the mistake of initially going 26" because why not? Well, because the velocities weren't much of an improvement over 20" in the end.

I'd probably go 18 or 20 on the length tops unless REALLY craving a few fps and dont feel like getting a bigger rifle out.

Bartlein, if you can wait for it. I had a Noveske 14.5" that didn't group well. I currently have 18" and 20" Proofs that shoot 1/2" five-round groups at 100 yards, but their barrel extensions were undersized and had to be bedded into the upper receiver.

Looking for a 20" too. JP wants $1000 for a barrel which is criminal. Cradock is sold out and Noveske with a bolt is like $636 but hearing not so great things. Might have to just settle with a proof.

Agreed! I don't know how JP justifies doubling the price of their 223 barrel for the 6 ARC. Seeing how well their 223 barrels shoot, I'd love to grab a 6 ARC from them.
