Gents, I have on order a 6mm BR rifle and will be using Lapua Brass. What dies (full size with and/or without bushing) do you recommend from your experience? I have no issues if you mix brands (sizer one brand and seater another)? fyi, I use a mandrel to open the brass case mouth in my reloading to control neck tension. I am using a Forster Co-Ax presently.

i use off the shelf whiddens for my BR but you can send 3 pieces of fired brass to harrells and they will set you up with a die...they have 8 different sizes on the shelf...if you have or know your reamer print they may be able to set you up with a die with that info.

i prefer a none bushing type dies but ive gone to bushing dies for easy of adjusting neck tensions on my BR and BRX...my BR reamer has a .113 free bore so the bullets are above the neck shoulder junction and my smith has been shooting the BRX for a long time so he know exactly where to throat the BRX to so that we can seat .025 off the lands and be just above the neck shoulder junction so i dont have to worry about doughnuts...i do run the expander ball in both dies.

I have a co-ax and use Forster's microseater and their custom FL non bushing sizer with .267 neck
Shot this group yesterday. 4 shots@ 100 yds.

man good thing you put that dime in there. i forgot how big bullet holes were. and nevermind the 1" grid you shot at lol.

i get away with a hornady match FL bushing die and use a forster ultra micrometer seating die.

i use a .265 bushing, then run it back over a mandrel.

Redding Type S full size bushing kit with competition inline seater. Bought mine from OTM Tactical, which is good about keeping several calibers in stock, and they ship fast.
