I thought most 6mm BR's were pushing 103-115's...Benchrest guns fire a 65 to 68 grain bullet in 6mm barrels with a 14 twist.
Short range benchrest rifles generally use the 6mm PPC cartridge.I thought most 6mm BR's were pushing 103-115's...
Interesting...I stand corrected then. The 14t will handle bullets up to 75gr without issue, regardless what the stability factor calculators say.
Yeah, inside 300yds a 6ppc destroys a 6br. Also, inside 300, most br shooters use a flat base 65-68 as it's more accurate than a bt.The 6PPC is the king in short range benchrest, 6BR just cant hang with the PPC but at long range the 6BR with heavy
bullets will outclass a 6PPC.
I used to shoot 65 Bergers I think in mine.Yeah, inside 300yds a 6ppc destroys a 6br. Also, inside 300, most br shooters use a flat base 65-68 as it's more accurate than a bt.
