I am in the process of getting my hands on a 6mm PPC bench gun. The barrel is 14 twist rate. What bullets would you suggest?

I understand 14 is probably not going to stabilize a 107gr SMK, so what would be a good size? I am used to SMK's but not stuck on them. I will be shooting 300 yards bench with this gun.

Any suggestions?

Thanks for looking.

Re: 6mm PPC

Rule of thumb, on the 14-twist/6mm . Not going to get heavier than 70-grn.
in a 1-14/6mm, I got the 68 grn. match Bergers to go extremely well . & if you plan on limiting yourself with it to 300 bench, it is a badass for sure. But you can get out to 600 real nice also with only 68 grn. & 'speed is your friend' .

Re: 6mm PPC

I had a 1/14 6 PPC that shot great out to 300 (never shot father) with Siera 70 grain Match HPBT and a max load of H335. Mine did not shoot well until I approached max load.

Re: 6mm PPC

I have a 6RemBR with a 14 twist barrel.(6PPC and 6BR are close enough) I've gotten best results with 68 Bergers and H-322 powder. I dont shoot in matches just wanted a nice varmint rifle. Best group so far is .187 for 15 shots off a bi-pod.
