I have a 6PPC converted from a short action .223 bolt action rifle with a Douglas Premium sporter and fiber glass stock barrel which was built for me about 30 years ago. It shoots hand loads into.25 inch so do NOT want to get rid of it, BUT... it only functions as a single shot and has to be fed accordingly. The gunsmith (Long since deceased, bless his soul) was unable to make it feed 6PPC ammo after the conversion. I do NOT want to change anything, as it shoots too well. Can it be easily changed in any way to properly feed 6PPC ammo? Thanks in advance. It was built on a Remington action.
