Hi all! So I am in the beinning stages of devoping loads for my new build chambered in 6XC. I am checking my OAL by taking unprimed brass and seating the 115gr DTACs very shallow. I loaded it into the chamber and turned the bolt to where there was some pressure as it was driving the projectile into the brass. I dialed the measurment back by .010 off the rifling and I came up with an OAL of 2.830. Does this measurement seem a bit long for this cartridge??? I've seen it mentioned in other areas at 2.80, but not where I'm at. Any concern here??? Just seeing if I may have found this OAL the wrong way, or not. Any input is greatly appreciated!

Rifle Description:
Krieger 26" Heavy Varmint with 1:75 twist barrel
Kelbly's Prometheus Action
6mm XC cartridge

Doesn’t seem like a completely unreasonable to me. Does it chamber easily and extract the round smoothly? Or can you feel it sticking still? Light touch, not gorilla fisting
