I'm treading unfamiliar Waters here and looking for some insights from those that would share some experience.
I have a newly built 7-08 AI 40°.
Now I have 20 pcs of fireformed brass to start with and a set of Redding dies. In the past with other calibers I usually screw the sizing die down until I get
.001~.002 shoulder setback.
I am not familiar with Redding dies so this is where I need the help.
I have read some conflicting info on this. From the AI shoulder angle does not need bumping to Redding FL dies do not bump shoulders?
I was under the impression that The FL die CAN be screwed down to bump the shoulder?
The die set came with a neck die also, which I assume only sizes the neck?
Am I just over thinking this?
Does The FL die bump shoulders?
Is it really necessary?

Thanks
