I should have added this to last post. The other caliber I was looking at is the 7-375 ruger. Any info would be appreciated?

Would be a nice cartridge but aggravating to form. It`s a shame Hornady doesn`t offer the 7mm-375 and the 300-375. Only time will tell.

Gunwerks up in Wyoming have the 7 LRM Which is their version of the 7-375. Their LR1000 rifle can be chambered in that cartridge and they hand load ammo as well. I did see a vid of one of the guys shooting that round, but cant remember wich one it was (they have a lot of vids)

I run the 30-375R. My load with Retumbo is 79.5 grains with 230's seated past mag length giving 2960 fps out of a 30" barrel.
I've thought of doing 7mm-375R before but I think I'll stick with the 30 cal version now that Berger came out with the 230 hybrid.
I wish Ruger or Hornady would see the potential of a 30 cal offering based on the 375R case. However now that I have the bushing dies necking down will be easier than before. Fortunately the brass is really strong and I'm still using the same 200 (minus about 20 damaged from necking down) I started with.
