So, since I've been hunting around for good prices, I thought I'd share the results. Found FGMM 168 for $19.95/20 here: http://www.palmettostatearmory.com/308-762-ammo.php
There's also something labeled as XM118CS (

) for $509/500.

I got some of the 168, but holding off on any of the 118 until I know what's quality and what isn't.

And here:

I found FGMM 168 for $523/500 and FGMM 175 for $269/200.

I'm putting various factory stuff through a 308 AR, looking to compare various factory loaded stuff to find out what performs. I've had good luck with 175 FGMM, although it's not cheap. I'd also like to find a good, stable, very accurate hunting round for deer, antelope, etc. Thinking about trying some of the Hornady SST Superformance, see how it works.

Thanks for the info.

I have been doing the same thing for my POF and have tried a few 168gr loads. Next I'm going to try some HSM loads in 175 & 178. I wish the 175gr FGMM could be had closer to the 168gr price.

Palmetto State Armory is good to go.

thats a good price for FGMM!

just under a dollar a round is a hell of a deal considering a lot of surplus is priced the same.

Im just kinda wondering why the prices have gone down on federal match ammo. I remember before the election frenzy this stuff was still going for around 1.50 or more a round.
