I’m trying to decide on the best long range hunting caliber for a short action. Ive been looking at the 7 Sherman Short and 7 SAUM. But im also considering the 7 PRCW. I know most are running 180’s on a medium or long action. Based on my calculations, the 7 PRCW would fit a 168 gr. VLD about perfect. But I have not seen anyone post speeds for the lighter bullets, so not sure what I could expect. Any help would be appreciated
