700 5R - slighty customized

What do you think of my new Rem 700 5R Milspec 308 with Falcon 4-14x FFP? I've added a marksman knob from AZ Precision, a max-xtender, Seekins low rings, Seekins 20 MOA base, adjustable cheekpiece by Joe ( NCPPRC ) and custom texture & Krylon by me.

no there is no such thing as a ex-Marine, former Marine yes. Ex army is what they call those guys. No such thing as a Ex Marine, its a former Marine or just a plain ole Marine

The 5R is a great production rifle. I'm getting 1/2 moa or better with handloads. I wonder if it's any better than LTR or PSS models.

The cheekpiece is a great modification. I've since sewn an olive drab cotton bootie that slips over it to make it real comfy on the face. I think it even looks nicer with it on.
