I just picked up a Christensen Ridgeline, but I’m not a fan of the stock. I want to swap it out and transition to a detachable mag. What are the options for affordable LA 700 DBM M5 style? I’m decent at research, but this area seems ripe for fitting and incompatibility issues. Thanks.

Its pretty straight forward. Find a stock with the M5 inlet, and choose the M5 bottom metal you want. 99% of the time they fit together.
My problem is two-fold, first find something that isn’t insanely expensive, and second, a lot of the manufacturers don’t explicitly state what inlet they are designed for.
APA was one of the few I found that wasn’t $400+, but they make no mention of M5 inlet which threw me.
Stockys, Grayboe, and Mesa have their stocks/bottom metals on sale right now. Seekins may also have their M5 DBM on sale too. Maybe CDI as well and last I heard they'll inlet your stock for free if you buy their DBM.
