700 Remington Blued 300 WM year of manufacture?

I was fondling a rifle in the rack at the local gunshop today, and am trying to determine its year of manufacture. It's a blued heavy barrel 700 Remington chambered in 300 WM, and has double sling swivel studs, and sits in, I believe, a HS precision stock. They have it labeled as a VS Sendero, but it does not have sendero stamped anywhere on the barrel. I had a blued Sendero in 25-06 years ago, and as I recall it had sendero on the barrel (and single sling swivel stud on the forend).

Anyways, the serial number is RR00365H. Was this rifle manufactured in 1997 when quality was still good, or is this something much newer. It appears to have been fired very little. Thanks.

Im not sure what year they started, but RR is the current prefix.

So i just sold my .300 win mag senders Gen 1 and the new owner asked me the same question. I did a little digging and found out it was a 98, check the 2 letter code on the side of the barrel it says sendero on it then Google Remington 700 date codes. Here’s a Link
