700P or the 700LTR

I have the LTR but now I'm kinda wondering if i want the 700P after handling it. I'm just going to be range shooting to 200yds. for now. I'd like to do the long range stuff some time. i also have the new savage 10bas that has the 24" barrel. do i get rid of my ltr for the 700P?

Why trade a Cadillac for a Chevy. Not that anything is wrong with that. Your LTR is very capable of long range shooting and so is the PSS model. Chances are you may not be able to recover the difference in cost due to slight depreciation in value. JMHO.

I had one of each at one point. I found myself using the LTR 10x more because of the shorter barrel and handier stock. The LTR was also capable of anything the PSS was.

I sometimes regret selling the LTR, but don't miss the PSS at all.

Keep the LTR, spend the extra bucks on ammo/reloading.
