Gunsmithing 7mm Rem mag to 300 Win Mag

So i have a savage 112 in 7mm Remington Mag, i would love to change it over to 300 Winchester Mag but not sure if the action, bolt, mags are compatable between the two calibers. I know i would need to switch barrels but is the rest the same or not? Thanks for your help as converting calibers of a rifle is not something i know much about.

I did the same thing with a Rem 700. The case for the 300 Win Mag is the same as that used for the 7mm Rem Mag. Therefore the magazine and bolt will work fine.
